The right margin on every price line?

Prices were set once. Then purchase costs rose, index clauses passed, and discounts were negotiated in emails that never reached the system. Nobody sees it, because nobody has time to calculate margin on thousands of price lines.

The annual effect is the price difference times twelve months of actual volume — what current prices cost over a year ahead, not money already lost.

How it works

Ten ways price and reality drift apart

Each one is a detector in the engine. All are calculated on your own figures, and all show how they arrived at the amount.

Price below cost

Every unit sold loses money. Happens when costs rise after the price was negotiated.

Cost rose, price stayed

The quiet one: the margin may still look acceptable, but it has fallen since the price was set.

Below margin target

The price yields a lower contribution margin than policy requires for the product group.

Discount beyond policy without approval

The discount exceeds what policy allows, and no approved decision justifies it.

Price adjustment never made

The index clause or contracted adjustment date passed without the price being raised.

Price does not match approved decision

Someone approved a price, the system holds another. The change stays invisible until someone compares.

Several prices valid at once

List price, campaign price and customer price overlap. Which one applies depends on how the order is entered.

Expired price still in use

The price line expired, but the article keeps selling and falls back on list price without anyone deciding.

Sold without a price line

The article is priced by hand on every order. No policy, no history, nothing to follow up against.

Awaiting approval

Negotiated prices from emails and quotes that nobody has decided on. They stay put until someone does.

How it works

Four steps — share the folder, pull the export, analysis, result

01 · THE DECISIONS

You share the folder

Emails, quotes and contract appendices where prices were negotiated — as they are. The AI reads them and extracts customer, article, price and validity, with a verbatim quote from the source.

You review and approve every price before anything is calculated.

02 · THE REGISTER

You pull the export

Four standard reports from your ERP: price register, costs, sales history and article/customer register. CSV or Excel, exactly as they come out of the system.

No system access, no integration and no IT department.

03 · ANALYSIS

Every price line against policy

Then it is plain arithmetic: what should the price be given cost, policy and index — and what is it? The difference times volume is the annual effect.

Every calculation can be followed step by step — from cost to recommended price.

04 · RESULT

The deviations and the decisions

You get a decision list that opens in the browser — no login, nothing to install. Every deviation shows the annual effect, the recommended price and the full calculation.

The system never changes a price. You decide, we calculate.

This is the decision list

One row per deviation, sorted by largest annual effect first. You decide one at a time — adjust the price, document the exception, or leave it. Everything needed for the decision is on the row.

The list is the working surface, not a report to read and file away. Newly negotiated prices land in it continuously, and decisions carry over — so the next review starts where the last one ended.

What we need from you

What we need from you

The review requires no system access, no integration and no IT project. Four export files and your pricing policy.

1 · From the ERP

Four standard exports

Price register, costs, sales history and article/customer register. Works with any ERP that can export — and they all can.

2 · The policy

As it stands today

A document, a spreadsheet, or a rule that lives in someone’s head. If it is only spoken, we write it down together — half an hour, and valuable in itself.

3 · We handle the rest

Index, mapping and interpretation

We fetch index series from Statistics Sweden and map field names against your export. If a file is hard to produce we help — thirty minutes in Teams with whoever knows the system is usually enough.

What you do not need to do
  • No system access or integration
  • No IT department involved
  • No procurement process
  • No data cleanup
  • No new system to learn
  • No change to how you set prices

Confidentiality and data processing agreements in place before a single file is sent. Files are used only for your analysis and deleted when you say so. You have the deviations in kronor the same week.

Wondering how your price lists look?

We run a review on a selection of your articles and customers. You see the margin per price line, what the deviations cost per year, and which prices to change first.
